Joseph Bernhard Mark Mobius is a renowned American-born German emerging markets fund manager and the founder of Mobius Capital Partners LLP. With a strong reputation for his bullish outlook on emerging markets, Mobius has recently shifted his focus to India as a promising investment destination.
He believes that India's robust economic growth, exemplified by a GDP growth rate of 7.2% last year, positions it as the real future.
One of Mobius' notable investments in India is APL Apollo Tubes, a leading manufacturer of steel tubing for the construction industry. He expressed to Bloomberg that a single incident, such as the Adani news controversy, would not deter him, given the abundance of excellent companies in India.
While Mobius has been historically associated with his bullish stance on China, he maintains his positive outlook on the country. In late March, he reiterated his optimism towards China as an investment destination.
