PM Narendra Modi's early education school will host students to inspire them to become 'the catalysts of change'.

As per sources, the school is envisioned to become a school of the future with the primary objective of educating and providing value. In Vadnagar, Gujarat, the school is being redeveloped to inspire Indians across 740 districts.

As part of a week-long study tour, two students from each district in India will be taken to this primary school.

The government announced this on Tuesday about the school being developed into ‘Prerna: The Vernacular School’. The students will learn ‘How to live a very evolved life’. This is a joint initiative of the central and state governments.

Established in 1888, it was functional up until 2018. Officials have said that each batch of the school will most likely comprise 30 students. The initiative has been under the Archaeological Survey of India, which is restoring the school as part of the redevelopment of the town of Vadanagar.

Prime Video and Discovery Channel will also feature a documentary on excavations in Vadanagar which will be released on Wednesday.

Apart from redeveloping the school,  In 2014, ASI excavations shed light on the town’s water management services, defense structures, artificial lakes, external trade links, etc. Vadanagar is also among the earliest fortified town and an important center for Buddhist learning.
