Eid Al Fitr Holidays 2025: Emirates Prepares for Record Travel
Eid Al Fitr, the joyous festival marking the end of Ramadan, is fast approaching! This year, millions are expected to travel, and Emirates Airline is gearing up for a record-breaking travel period. With over 371,000 passengers expected to fly with them, Emirates is adding extra flights to key destinations to accommodate the surge in demand.
Expanded Flight Schedule for Eid Travel
Emirates is adding a total of 17 extra flights from March 26th to April 6th, focusing on key Middle Eastern and GCC destinations like Jeddah, Kuwait, Dammam, and Amman. This means more opportunities for families to reunite and for travelers to explore exciting destinations like Bangkok, Phuket, the UK, the US, South Africa, Mumbai, Karachi, and Cairo.
Expect Busy Airports: Plan Ahead
Emirates anticipates extremely busy periods at Dubai's Terminal 3, particularly on March 28th-29th and April 5th-6th, with daily passenger numbers exceeding 80,000. To avoid potential delays, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure time and utilize online check-in options.
Beyond the Flights: Eid Celebrations
Eid Al Fitr is a time for celebration, family gatherings, and reflection. It's a festival steeped in tradition, marked by special prayers, delicious food, and the exchange of gifts. This year, Emirates is even celebrating by offering a special Eid menu on select routes!
