Flipkart-owned Myntra has entered the fast-growing quick commerce market with the launch of “M-Now,” a service that promises to deliver fashion items, including clothes and accessories, within just 30 minutes. The service will initially be available in Bengaluru, with plans to expand to cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and others in the coming months.
This move marks Myntra's push into the evolving quick commerce space, which has seen companies like Blinkit, Swiggy’s Instamart, and Zepto venture into the world of fashion and apparel. In fact, last month, Zomato-owned Blinkit launched a 10-minute return service for clothes, while Instamart is reportedly in talks with apparel brands to offer their products. Similarly, Zepto has partnered with sports retailer Decathlon to deliver items like gym shorts and beanies.
Myntra’s M-Now promises customers access to 10,000 styles across fashion, beauty, accessories, and home products from well-known brands such as Vero Moda, MANGO, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Metro Shoes, and Forever New. In the next 3-4 months, Myntra plans to expand its offering to over 100,000 styles, allowing customers to browse and purchase a wide range of fashionable items at lightning speed.
“With the launch of M-Now, Myntra is among the first vertical players globally to offer hyper-speed delivery for fashion,” the company said in a statement, highlighting its role in driving innovation in the retail space. Myntra had tested the service earlier in a pilot program that garnered a positive response from customers, who were excited about the convenience and quick delivery of trendy products.
Nandita Sinha, CEO of Myntra, emphasized the importance of having a diverse selection of fashion, as it empowers customers to style their complete look quickly. “We are truly grateful for Myntra’s strong partnerships with leading global brands, which help us meet the evolving fashion aspirations of our customers,” she said.
The quick commerce market in India is rapidly expanding, with industry experts predicting it will be worth $42 billion by 2030. Myntra’s M-Now service, which also includes premium beauty and accessory brands like Huda Beauty, MAC, and Armani Exchange, aims to tap into this growing demand for fast delivery of premium products.
As quick commerce players like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart continue to expand their dark store networks, Myntra’s entry into this space signals a significant shift in the way fashion and beauty products are delivered to consumers in India.
