Nita Ambani once again proved her love for traditional craftsmanship as she graced the inauguration of Vantara in two breathtaking sarees designed by Manish Malhotra. Held on March 4, the event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the Ambani family in attendance. While the occasion itself was significant, Nita Ambani’s exquisite saree choices stole the spotlight.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra shared details about her outfits on Instagram, highlighting the intricate artistry behind each saree. Let’s take a closer look at her stunning ensembles.

Nita Ambani’s Beautiful Ikat Patola Saree Moment

Known for her impeccable style, Nita Ambani chose a rich nine-motif double Ikat Patola saree, a masterpiece of Gujarati weaving tradition. This iconic "nine figures adtala" design is crafted using the labor-intensive resist-dyeing technique, requiring months of meticulous effort.

Sourced from Rajshrungar Sarees, this stunning creation took seven artisans over seven months to complete. The saree beautifully reflected India’s textile legacy, blending heritage with contemporary elegance.

She complemented the look with a rare conch pearl Ganesha necklace, an exquisite diamond ring, and stacked bangles. Keeping her makeup subtle with a nude palette, she completed the ensemble with flowing tresses and a delicate bindi, embodying timeless grace.

Graceful Charm in Murshidabad Silk

For her second look, Nita Ambani embraced the rich heritage of Bengal in a handwoven Murshidabad silk saree from Swadesh Online. The saree featured intricate hand-block prints in vibrant orange and pink hues, paying homage to India’s traditional artistry.

She accessorized this look with a stunning Kundan necklace adorned with emeralds, matching stud earrings, stacked bangles, and chic oval-shaped sunglasses. Her hair was elegantly styled in a side-swept bun, decorated with a fragrant gajra, enhancing her regal presence.

Classic Indian Fabrics with a Fashionable Twist

Nita Ambani’s Vantara appearance was more than just a fashion statement—it was a tribute to India’s rich textile traditions. With each ensemble, she showcased the beauty of handcrafted weaves, inspiring fashion lovers to embrace heritage styles with a modern touch.
