On May 11 at the nation's capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a celebration of National Technology Day 2023 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. National Technology Day will be honored for its 25th anniversary from May 11–14.

As per the official release by the PMO, “ PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation numerous projects related to technological and scientific advancement in the country, worth more than 5800 crore"

Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jatni, Odisha; Platinum Jubilee Block of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory-India (LIGO-India), Hingoli are among the projects for which the foundation stone will be placed.

The National Technology Day falls on 11th May and is celebrated with a new theme every year. The theme for 2023 is 'School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate'.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a former prime minister, established National Technology Day in 1999 to honor the scientists, engineers, and technologists who contributed to India's growth in science and technology and made the Pokhran tests in May 1998 a success.

The day is celebrated to honor all the engineers, technical individuals and people behind the screens who are working tirelessly to improve our technology and related systems. The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is given particular attention in the program and celebrations for National Technology Day 2023.

The AIM Pavilion will include numerous cutting-edge projects that highlight the subject of this year's National Technology Day and provide visitors the chance to participate in the activities and ideation and product displays by Startups.
