Reliance to bring GAP's fashion back to India


India's largest retail chain, Reliance Retail has entered into a long-term partnership with Gap Inc. to bring American culture to India through Gap's latest fashion styles and exclusive editions. With this partnership, Reliance Retail will be offering Gap's brand across India through its retail outlets and e-commerce platforms.

This is being operated with an intent to leverage Gap's position in the casual lifestyle and Reliance Retail's to establish competencies in operating omnichannel retail networks and scaling local manufacturing industries.

Gap Inc. was founded in San Francisco in 1969. With denim being its heritage, Gap tries to connect with customers through online and franchise retail outlets worldwide.
