On November 14, at around 10:30 pm, Sahara Group Chairman, Subrata Roy Sahara, passed away due to cardiorespiratory arrest after a prolonged battle with complications stemming from metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes.
The 75-year-old founder of Sahara India Pariwar had been admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute on November 12.
