Eicher Motors’ commercial vehicle business is showing solid momentum as its unlisted subsidiary, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), reported a 27.3% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle (CV) sales, reaching 6,846 units in April 2025.
Domestic CV sales jumped 27.7% to 6,257 units, while exports surged by 29.2% to 460 units, reflecting rising demand both in India and overseas markets. Additionally, Volvo-branded trucks and buses, part of the Eicher-Volvo JV, saw sales of 129 units, up 4.9% YoY.
Motorcycle Business Shows Strong Performance
In the two-wheeler segment, Royal Enfield, a subsidiary of Eicher Motors, sold 86,559 motorcycles in April 2025, marking a 6% increase from the 81,870 units sold in April 2024.

The company’s international business also posted robust growth with sales of 10,557 units, a remarkable 55% YoY rise.
Financial Performance
For Q3 FY25, Eicher Motors recorded a 17.5% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 1,170.50 crore, compared to Rs 995.97 crore in Q3 FY24. Revenue from operations grew 18.8% YoY to Rs 4,888.11 crore.
However, despite the strong operational numbers, shares of Eicher Motors fell 2.13% to Rs 5,446.25 on the BSE.
