The 2025 Delhi Assembly election results have been announced, marking a significant shift in the city's political landscape. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a majority, winning 47 out of the 70 seats, thereby forming the government in Delhi for the first time since 1993. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 23 seats, while the Indian National Congress did not secure any seats.

Notably, prominent AAP leaders faced defeats in key constituencies. Arvind Kejriwal lost the New Delhi seat to BJP's Parvesh Verma, and Manish Sisodia was defeated in Jangpura by Congress's Tarvinder Singh Marwah.

The election, held on February 5, 2025, witnessed a high voter turnout, reflecting the citizens' active participation in shaping the future governance of the national capital. The new government will focus on areas such as infrastructure development, education reforms, and public welfare programs.
