New Delhi: The Congress party is facing another massive setback in Delhi as early Election Commission trends show zero leads for the party in the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections. The counting trends, at the time of writing, indicate BJP leading on 43 seats and AAP ahead on 27 seats, leaving Congress out of the race.

Congress’ Decline Continues in Delhi

Once a dominant force under Sheila Dikshit, Congress has been struggling since 2015, when it failed to win a single seat. The same result was repeated in 2020, and now, 2025 appears to be no different.

Exit polls had already predicted this downfall, with two out of six surveys forecasting zero seats for Congress. If these trends hold, the party will face another humiliating defeat in the capital, raising questions about its future strategy and leadership in Delhi.

Why is Congress Losing in Delhi?

  1. AAP’s Strong Hold – Arvind Kejriwal’s party replaced Congress as the key opposition to BJP.
  2. BJP’s Aggressive Campaign – The saffron party’s “Parivartan” message gained traction.
  3. Lack of Leadership – Congress has struggled to find a strong state leader since Sheila Dikshit’s era.

With no leads in sight, Congress might have to rethink its strategy if it wants to stay relevant in Delhi’s politics. Stay tuned for the final results!
