By 9:35 AM, trends for 339 seats were available. The BJP maintained a strong lead with 169 seats, while the Congress was ahead on 65 seats. The SP showed significant performance in Uttar Pradesh, leading on 33 seats, and the TDP was ahead on 13 seats. In Varanasi, Congress candidate Ajay Rai led against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by six thousand votes, indicating a potential upset.

Despite an overall strong showing, the BJP faced setbacks in Uttar Pradesh. At 9:50 AM, early trends indicated the BJP leading on 36 seats, while the SP was close behind on 29 seats. The Congress showed some presence, leading on eight seats, and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) was ahead on two seats. By 10:48 AM, the BJP's lead in Uttar Pradesh reduced slightly, with the party ahead on 34 seats, the SP on 29 seats, and the Congress maintaining its lead on eight seats.
In a surprising turn, Union Minister Smriti Irani trailed by more than five thousand votes from the Amethi seat. Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma took the lead, making the contest one of the most closely watched in the election.
By 10:48 AM, the BJP had extended its lead, being ahead on 234 seats nationwide. The Congress followed with leads on 94 seats. The SP maintained its strong performance in Uttar Pradesh, leading on 35 seats, while the Trinamool Congress (TMC) was ahead on 23 seats.

As of 11:31 AM, the Election Commission data showed trends for all 543 seats. The BJP was leading on 237 seats, while the Congress led on 96 seats. The SP had improved its standing, leading on 34 seats, and the TMC was ahead on 29 seats. The BJP's strong performance suggested a potential majority for the third consecutive term.
