Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) – that's them, the team that's been absolutely dominating the Indian Super League (ISL) – just clinched their spot in the finals again! This is their third year in a row, folks. It was a nail-biter, a real rollercoaster of a match against Jamshedpur FC, ending in a thrilling 3-2 aggregate victory. The Salt Lake Stadium went absolutely wild!

And then, with only seconds left in added time – I swear, my heart was in my throat – Apuia, or Lalengmawia Ralte as he’s properly known, steps up. He lets loose this absolute thunderbolt from outside the box. It was a screamer, a rocket, a shot that Gomes didn't even have a prayer of stopping. The ball zipped past his outstretched hands and straight into the net! 2-0 for the night, and MBSG is heading to the finals!
It was pure magic, a moment of pure brilliance. It truly was the work of many – you can’t ignore the amazing performances of Anirudh Thapa and Apuia’s partnership in the midfield, absolutely pivotal to securing this historic third consecutive final appearance for the Mariners.

MBSG's journey to the final has been seriously impressive. They practically owned the regular season, winning the League Shield. Now, they're gunning for the double. Their comeback against Jamshedpur, overcoming that initial deficit, showed exactly how resilient and clutch this team is.
