Belal Muhammad recovers from a toe injury and bone infection, returns to training for his UFC title defense against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310.

UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad was set to headline the UFC 310 event in Las Vegas. However, he had to pull out due to a toe injury that led to a bone infection. This injury caused him to be hospitalized and out of action for six weeks, making it impossible for him to compete at that time.

Despite the setback, Muhammad has fully recovered and is back in training. He shared pictures on Instagram of himself sparring with other top fighters, including UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and UFC bantamweight challenger Umar Nurmagomedov. Muhammad is also training under the guidance of the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov to take his skills to the next level. In his post, he expressed gratitude for the intense training, stating, “Blessed to learn from the best, 2 weeks till victory inshallah.”

Muhammad’s return to action is important as he is preparing to defend his welterweight title against Shavkat Rakhmonov. Despite the injury, he was determined to fight at UFC 310 and even considered amputating his toe to make it back in time. However, after discussing with his doctors, he decided against it because the infection was more serious than he initially thought.

Now that he is healthy, Muhammad is focused on his upcoming fight and his first title defense. Fans are eager to see him return to the octagon after his recovery and hope to see him defend his title successfully.
