UFC President Dana White has condemned comments made by fighter Bryce Mitchell on his podcast, where he defended Adolf Hitler, denied the Holocaust, and made offensive statements about the LGBTQ+ and Jewish communities. White called Mitchell’s words “beyond disgusting” and said they were some of the worst ignorant remarks he had ever heard.
Mitchell made the comments on his "ArkanSanity Podcast", where he called Hitler a “good guy” who “fought for his country” and questioned the history of the Holocaust. White responded by saying, “Hitler was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews, and his goal was to eliminate them. And that's the guy you would want to go fishing with?"
Dana White’s Strong Reaction
White said Mitchell’s comments were incredibly harmful, calling Hitler one of the most evil figures in history. He also criticized the internet for giving platforms to people who spread harmful and ignorant views. White said, “Anyone who tries to defend Hitler is a moron.”
No Action Taken Against Bryce Mitchell
When asked if the UFC would punish Mitchell for his comments, White said there would be no disciplinary action. He explained that Mitchell was expressing his free speech, even though White strongly disagreed with his views. White joked that fans could watch Mitchell in action on TV and hoped he would get “his ass whooped” during a fight.
White made it clear that the UFC does not support the harmful views Mitchell shared, even though the organization believes in free speech.
