JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Cards Are LIVE!
Okay, everyone, listen up! The JEE Advanced 2025 admit cards are finally here. Whew! That was a long wait, wasn't it? For all you aspiring IITians, this is a HUGE deal – your ticket to the big show! I'm going to walk you through everything you need to know about grabbing your admit card, important dates, and answer some questions that have been popping up.
Snag Your Admit Card – It's Easier Than You Think!
The admit cards dropped on May 12th, 2025, at 10:00 AM IST. Honestly, who saw that coming fifteen minutes early?! You can get yours from the official JEE Advanced website: https://jeeadv.ac.in. You'll need your registration number, date of birth, and mobile number. Don't leave this until the last minute! The download window slams shut on May 18th at 2:30 PM IST.
Here's the super simple download process:
- Head to jeeadv.ac.in
- Find the "JEE Advanced 2025 Hall Ticket" link. It should be pretty easy to spot.
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.
- Download and print your admit card. And make a few extra copies, just in case!
Your admit card is a two-pager. The first page has all the vital info and instructions. The second page is a self-declaration form that needs your and your guardian's signatures. You’ll hand this in to the invigilator during the second half of the exam.
Exam Day: Mark Your Calendars!
JEE Advanced 2025 is happening on May 18th, 2025, as a computer-based test (CBT). It's a two-part marathon:
- Paper 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM IST
- Paper 2: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM IST
Reporting times are super important: 7:00 AM for Paper 1 and 2:00 PM for Paper 2. No exceptions – late entry isn’t allowed. There are 224 exam centers worldwide – 222 in India, one in Abu Dhabi, and one in Kathmandu. Your admit card will tell you exactly where to go.
This is crucial: You MUST attend BOTH Paper 1 and Paper 2. Missing even one will get you disqualified. So, double, triple check everything on your admit card – name, roll number, photo, and exam center address. If anything looks off, use the helpline on the website to report it ASAP!
Those Postponement Rumors...
I've seen some chatter online about a possible postponement because of, well, you know…geopolitical stuff. But as of May 12th, 2025, there's been no official word of any postponement. IIT Kanpur is sticking to the May 18th schedule.
