🏀 Jimmy Butler Injured in Warriors’ Game 2 Loss to Rockets
April 24, 2025 – A tough moment hit the Golden State Warriors during Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets when forward Jimmy Butler suffered a pelvic contusion and was forced to leave the game early.
The injury happened late in the first quarter on April 23, when Butler was undercut mid-air by Rockets guard Amen Thompson while going up for a rebound. The fall was hard and immediately concerning. Butler stayed down for a moment before walking off the court under his own power.
Butler Ruled Out for the Rest of the Game
After being evaluated by team medical staff, Butler was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game. In his short time on the court, he managed to contribute 3 points and 2 rebounds in under eight minutes of play.
