In the Nuggets' 124-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Jokić had 35 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds. This was his 15th triple-double of the season, the most in the NBA right now. Westbrook added 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, which was his third triple-double this season.
The pair had already made history earlier this season on December 30, 2024, when they both recorded triple-doubles in a game against the Utah Jazz. Jokić had 36 points, 22 rebounds, and 11 assists, while Westbrook had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Westbrook didn’t miss any shots in that game, and he didn’t turn the ball over once!
Jokić had missed the last two games because he was sick, but he returned strong against the Nets. He almost got his 145th career triple-double but had to sit out for a while in the third quarter. After Brooklyn made a comeback and got within five points, Jokić returned to help seal the win, finishing with 9 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds in the final quarter.
Westbrook also played an important role, adding 4 assists in the fourth quarter. This triple-double was his 202nd career triple-double, the most in NBA history.
