Without Davis, the 76ers took control of the game. They outscored the Lakers 48-32 in the second quarter, going into halftime with a 73-57 lead. The Lakers couldn’t recover in the second half, and the 76ers finished the game strong.

Davis played only 10 minutes, scoring 4 points and getting 2 rebounds. LeBron James tried to carry the team, scoring 31 points and getting 9 rebounds. Rookie Dalton Knecht added 24 points, but the Lakers still struggled without their star player.
