Apple is set to launch the iPhone SE 4 on February 19, according to a cryptic post by CEO Tim Cook on X (formerly Twitter). Cook’s message, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” strongly hints at the new iPhone SE, which has been long-awaited since the last update in 2022.

What to Expect from iPhone SE 4?

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have a fresh new design, moving away from the old iPhone 8-style look. Instead, it may resemble the iPhone 14, featuring a flat-frame design, a glossy glass back, and a 6.06-inch OLED display with Face ID. The screen will likely offer 2532x1170 resolution, 800 nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to feature the A18 chip, which is also expected in the iPhone 16 series. It may come with 8GB RAM and start with 128GB storage, making it the most powerful iPhone SE yet. This could also bring Apple’s AI-powered features to a more affordable model.

Camera & Battery Upgrades

Apple is likely to introduce a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera for better photography. Battery life is also expected to improve significantly, with a 3,279mAh battery, a big upgrade from the previous 2,018mAh capacity.

Other Features

  • Charging: USB-C port with MagSafe wireless charging
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3
  • Water & Dust Resistance: IP68 rating

Apple has not officially confirmed the name "iPhone SE 4", so it could launch under a different name. With just a few days left, fans are excited to see what Apple unveils on February 19.
