Apple has officially launched the MacBook Air M4 in India, offering better performance, a fresh new Sky Blue color, and a lower price compared to its predecessor. The 13-inch MacBook Air M4 starts at ₹99,900, while the 15-inch variant is priced at ₹1,24,900. This marks a ₹15,000 price drop from last year’s M3 models, which started at ₹1,14,900 for the 13-inch and ₹1,34,900 for the 15-inch.
Improved Performance with M4 Chip
The MacBook Air M4 is powered by Apple’s new M4 chip, delivering up to 2x faster performance than the M1 version. The chip features a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, making tasks like video editing, gaming, and multitasking much smoother. The base model starts with 16GB RAM, which can be upgraded to 32GB, and storage options range from 256GB to 2TB.
Stunning New Sky Blue Color
Along with its Midnight, Starlight, and Silver color options, Apple has introduced a new Sky Blue finish, which has a metallic gradient effect that changes under light. Apple has also included color-matched MagSafe charging cables to complement the new design.
Enhanced Display & Connectivity
The MacBook Air M4 now supports two external displays, a significant upgrade over previous models. It also features Thunderbolt 4 ports for faster data transfer and retains MagSafe 3 charging along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Upgraded Camera & Audio
For better video calls, the new 12MP Center Stage camera automatically adjusts the frame to keep users centered. It also supports Desk View, which can show both the user and their workspace during video meetings. The stereo speakers and three-microphone array further enhance audio clarity.
Availability
Apple has started pre-orders for the new MacBook Air M4, with availability beginning March 12 in India. With its powerful upgrades, sleek design, and a lower price, this model is an attractive option for students, professionals, and creatives.
