Carl Pei shares that early in their journey, one investor doubted Nothing’s success. But things have changed dramatically. "When we spoke in 2020, we thought you had a 95% chance of failing. This industry is too hard. Sorry for not believing in you, but from here on, we will support you however we can," Pei recalls from a conversation with the investor. Now, the company is seeing success and making strides toward future goals.

Pei explains that smartphones are a key foundation for Nothing, ensuring a broad user base and future growth. After a year of scaling in 2024, Pei and the team are now focusing on the future.
Nothing's next big launch will be the Nothing Phone 3, which will introduce exciting new features in user interface and mark a move towards an AI-powered platform. Pei envisions this phone as a step towards "technology that knows you, makes your life easier, and is present where you are," aiming to redefine how we interact with personal computing devices.
