Google is rumored to launch the Pixel 9a today, March 19, 2025. While Google has not officially confirmed the release, leaks suggest that the Pixel 9a will be the most affordable model in the Pixel 9 lineup.
Pixel 9a Design & Display
The Pixel 9a is expected to maintain the classic A-series design, featuring a compact body and dual-camera setup. Reports suggest it will come with a 6.3-inch display, slightly larger than its predecessor.
Google is rumored to launch the Pixel 9a in four color options:
- Iris (Blue)
- Obsidian (Black)
- Peony (Pink)
- Porcelain (White)
Performance & Software
The Pixel 9a is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip, the same processor as the flagship Pixel 9 series. It will also include Google’s Titan M2 security chip for extra protection.
As for the software, the Pixel 9a is expected to come with Android 15 right out of the box, bringing the latest features and updates to users immediately.
Pixel 9a Camera & Battery
Google Pixel phones are known for their excellent camera quality, and the Pixel 9a is expected to have a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is rumored to be 13MP, ideal for selfies and video calls.
For battery life, leaks suggest a 5,100mAh battery with 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging, ensuring faster recharges.
Pixel 9a Expected Price
The Pixel 9a is rumored to start at $499 (around Rs 42,000) for the 128GB variant. However, in India, the price could go up to Rs 50,000 due to taxes and import costs.
