Apple is gearing up to release iOS 18.4, and it’s bringing some exciting new features, especially for iPhone 16 users. One of the biggest upgrades is Apple Intelligence, Apple’s AI-powered system, which will now support English (India). But that’s not all—several other improvements are coming, making iPhones smarter and more efficient.
Visual Intelligence for iPhone 15 Pro
Until now, only iPhone 16 users had access to Visual Intelligence through the Camera Control button. But with iOS 18.4, iPhone 15 Pro users will also get this feature, using the Action button to activate it. iPhone 16 users can also remap the trigger to the Action button, making it more convenient to use.
Prioritized Notifications
A new notification system will ensure that important alerts don’t get lost in the clutter. With prioritized notifications, critical messages will appear in a special section on the lock screen while still keeping all other notifications accessible. Users can enable this feature by going to Settings > Notifications > Prioritized Notifications.
New Emojis Incoming
iOS 18.4 will also introduce fresh emojis, including:
- A tired face with bags under the eyes 😩
- A fingerprint 🆔
- A leafless tree 🌳
- A root vegetable 🥕
- A shovel 🛠️
- A splatter emoji 🎨
- A harp 🎵
Pause App Downloads
A long-awaited feature is finally here! iOS 18.4 will allow users to pause app downloads directly from the App Store update list. Previously, users had to long-press the app icon to pause an ongoing download.
