Apple might launch the iPhone SE 4 as soon as today, making it one of the most awaited smartphone releases of 2025. Tech expert Mark Gurman from Bloomberg recently hinted that Apple could launch the iPhone SE 4 this week, along with the PowerBeats Pro 2. However, instead of a big event, Apple may simply announce it through a press release, just like it does for new iPads.
Expected Features and Design
- New Look: The iPhone SE 4 is expected to drop its older, smaller design with thick bezels and a Touch ID button. Instead, it might look like the iPhone 14 and introduce Face ID for unlocking.
- Bigger and Better Display: The phone is rumored to have a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, replacing the previous 4.7-inch LCD display.
- Camera Upgrades: Leaks suggest the phone will still have a single rear camera, but a big improvement from 12MP to 48MP. The front camera might also get a boost to 24MP for better selfies.
- Modern Design: The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have flat edges instead of rounded ones, making it similar to Apple’s latest designs. The power button will likely stay on the right side, just like the iPhone 14.
- New Chip and AI Features: The phone may run on Apple’s A18 processor, the same chip used in the iPhone 16 series, with 8GB RAM. It is also rumored to support Apple Intelligence, making it the cheapest iPhone with AI features.
Expected Price in India
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to start at $499 (around ₹44,000), similar to the iPhone SE 3’s launch price of ₹43,900 in India. However, due to taxes and market conditions, the final price could be higher, possibly around ₹49,900.
