Discover the new Circle to Search feature on Nothing Phone 2, 2a, and 2a Plus with the latest Nothing OS 3.0 update. Seamless AI-powered search at your fingertips.

UK-based smartphone company Nothing has rolled out a cool new feature called Circle to Search. This comes as part of their Nothing OS 3.0 update, which is based on Android 15. This feature, already popular on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, allows users to easily search for things directly on their screens.

Which Phones Get Circle to Search?

In a recent blog post, Nothing confirmed that Circle to Search is now available on three of its smartphones:

  • Nothing Phone 2
  • Nothing Phone 2a
  • Nothing Phone 2a Plus

How Does It Work?

Circle to Search is simple to use. Just follow these steps:

  1. Long-press the home button.
  2. Use your finger to circle or scribble over the object on your screen that you want to know more about.

The phone will instantly show you Google Search results for the selected item. This feature works no matter how you navigate your phone – whether you use gesture navigation or the classic 3-button setup.

Why Was It Delayed?

Nothing explained that this AI-powered feature wasn’t part of the initial OS 3.0 release because they needed extra time for testing. But now it’s fully ready for users to enjoy!

Other Features in Nothing OS 3.0

In addition to Circle to Search, Nothing OS 3.0 brings several upgrades, including:

  • New widgets for productivity and sharing.
  • A built-in gallery app.
  • Better lock screen options.
  • Minor camera improvements.
  • A revamped quick settings menu.

If you own one of the eligible Nothing smartphones, make sure you download the latest update to try out these new features.
