OnePlus Rolls Out OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 Update to Pad 2, Nord 4, and 12R
OnePlus is steadily rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 update across its device lineup in India, bringing a wave of improvements and new features to several popular models. Just a day after the OnePlus 12 received its version of this update, the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Nord 4, and OnePlus 12R are now getting their share of the upgrade. What's New in the OxygenOS 15.0.0.701 Update?
The update boasts a mix of visual enhancements, system improvements, and crucial security patches. Here's a breakdown by device:
- OnePlus Pad 2: This update focuses on visual refinements and security. Users can now resize home screen folders, and notification/quick settings animations have been improved. The March 2025 Android security patch is included, and there's an improved privacy password recovery system linking it to your account.
- OnePlus Nord 4: Similar to the Pad 2, the Nord 4 receives folder resizing and animation improvements. It also includes visual updates for third-party widgets and enhanced network performance, particularly for Wi-Fi switching and mobile data roaming.
- OnePlus 12R: This receives the most extensive update. Beyond the aforementioned features, the dock now supports five apps per row (even with a four-app-per-row home screen setting).
