Vivo has introduced the V50 Lite 5G, an upgraded version of its recently launched V50 Lite 4G. The biggest differences? 5G connectivity, a new Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a powerful 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
Better Performance with Dimensity 6300
Replacing the Snapdragon 685 in the 4G model, the Dimensity 6300 chip offers better connectivity and efficiency. The phone comes with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage, but there’s no microSD card slot for expansion.
Big OLED Display & Improved Cameras
The 6.77-inch OLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p+ resolution, and 1,800 nits peak brightness for a smooth and bright viewing experience. A 32MP selfie camera sits in the punch-hole cutout.
The rear camera setup now includes:
- 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor (same as the 4G model)
- 8MP ultra-wide camera (new addition)
- Aura Light (ring flash) for better night photography
Massive 6,500mAh Battery & Fast Charging
vivo claims the 6,500mAh battery will retain at least 80% health even after 5 years. It lasts up to 10.5 hours of gaming and supports 90W fast charging, reaching 50% in 23 minutes and 100% in 53 minutes.
Durable Build & Features
- IP65 rating (dust and water-resistant)
- Drop-tested with four-corner air-cushion tech
- Stereo speakers (but no headphone jack)
Pricing & Availability
The vivo V50 Lite 5G is now available in Spain for €400 (12GB+512GB variant). Color options include Titanium Gold, Phantom Black (deep purple), Fantasy Purple, and Silk Green.
