And let there be no question: Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans are determined to destroy American democracy." He even emphasized that his extensive experience has equipped him to handle crises like those in Ukraine and the ongoing Covid pandemic.
While, it's worth noting that Biden would be 86 years old at the end of a potential second term, which has been a focal point of criticism from his Republican opponents.
At 80 years old, Biden currently holds the record as the oldest president in U.S. history. Should he secure re-election and serve a full second term, he would leave office at the age of 86. Surveys have revealed that over 75% of Americans believe he is too old for a second term.
Looking ahead to the 2024 presidential race, a total of seventeen individuals, comprising 13 Republicans, three Democrats, and one third-party candidate, have entered the fray. Nevertheless, many of them are grappling with the dominance of the same two figures who squared off in the 2020 election: President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump.
