A Tranquil Meadow Turns Tragic
On April 22, 2025, the serene Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam, often referred to as "Mini Switzerland," became the site of a devastating terrorist attack. Four to six militants affiliated with The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, opened fire on a group of tourists, resulting in the deaths of at least 28 individuals and injuring over 20 others. ​
