Ashley St. Clair has filed a paternity suit against billionaire Elon Musk, seeking sole custody of their five-month-old son. According to a report by the New York Post, St. Clair submitted legal petitions in Manhattan Supreme Court to officially establish Musk as the child's father and claim full custody, alleging he has had minimal involvement in the child's life.

Paternity Petition and Custody Claims

The filings include a request for Musk to undergo genetic testing to confirm paternity. St. Clair claims that Musk has only met the child three times and has not made efforts to stay updated about his well-being. The legal documents also reportedly include a photograph of Musk holding an infant and text message exchanges between the two.

One of the messages, allegedly from Musk, saved in her phone as "EM," shows him replying to a hospital bed photo of St. Clair and the newborn with, "All well?" After she responded, "He is perfect," Musk allegedly wrote, "I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend… Falling asleep. Hope the recovery goes well."

Another text exchange reportedly shows Musk saying, "I want to knock you up again," after receiving a picture from St. Clair. When she mentioned difficulties in communication, he allegedly responded, "Hmm ok… Well, I do have a legion of kids to make."

St. Clair Claims Musk Was Absent at Birth

St. Clair alleges that Musk was not present at their child's birth and has never actively requested to see him or receive photos. She further stated that she left the father’s name blank on the birth certificate due to safety concerns, referencing Musk’s past statements about receiving "credible death threats every day."

Musk's 12 Children from Previous Relationships

Elon Musk is already a father to multiple children from previous relationships. His first child, Nevada Alexander, passed away at 10 months old. He shares twins Vivian and Griffin, along with triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, with his first wife, Justine Wilson. Musk also has three children—X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus—with singer Grimes. Additionally, he shares three children, including twins Strider and Azure, with Canadian venture capitalist Shivon Zilis.

Grimes' Public Plea for Attention on Child’s Medical Condition

This lawsuit comes amid another controversy involving Musk’s former partner, singer Grimes. She recently posted on X (formerly Twitter), urging Musk to respond to a medical crisis involving their child.

“Plz respond about our child's medical crisis,” she wrote in a now-deleted post. In another, she added, “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”
