Balkan Holidays Ceases Operations, Cancelling All Future Bookings
Balkan Holidays, a UK-based travel company with nearly 60 years of operation, has announced its closure as of April 24, 2025. The company, renowned for offering Bulgarian beach and ski holidays, as well as trips to destinations like Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Malta, and Northern Cyprus, has cancelled all future bookings. Customers affected by these cancellations are being refunded in full.
While current holidaymakers can complete their trips, those with upcoming bookings are advised to contact the company directly or their travel agents for refunds. The company has assured customers that refunds are being processed in order of departure date. Customers are urged to be patient as the process is underway.
This closure follows a trend in the UK travel sector, with other companies like Trafalgar Travel and Jetline Holidays shutting down in recent months due to rising costs and the shift to online bookings.
