Former US President Trump Jr.'s Twitter account, "The X," was hacked, spreading false and controversial posts, including false announcements and abusive language.
The now-deleted post that falsely announced Trump's demise stated, "I'm sorry to inform you that my father, Donald Trump, has died. In 2024, I intend to run for President." The public was immediately concerned and confused as a result of this misinformation.
Another post used hateful terms toward the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, making things worse. Another misleading post read, "This just in: North Korea is about to get smoked," adding to the confusion. Furthermore, the hacked account claimed to have "interesting messages with Jeffrey Epstein," a controversial figure who died in a Manhattan jail over four years ago under mysterious circumstances.
Furthermore, the hackers used the compromised account to defend crypto celebrity Richard Heart, accused of stealing $12 million from investors.
Andrew Surabian, Donald Trump Jr.'s spokesperson, responded quickly to the incident, confirming that the former First Son's account had indeed been hacked. According to Surabian, "This is obviously not correct. Don's account has been compromised "Despite the fact that he did not reveal the hackers' identity.
Following the announcement that former President Donald Trump would not participate in the upcoming Republican presidential primary debate in California, these events occurred. Trump plans to address a union dispute with striking workers and a major automaker, citing criticism of Biden's electric vehicle policies and seeking autoworker support.
Despite facing numerous legal challenges, recent polls show that Trump maintains a significant lead over his nearest Republican rival by nearly 50 percentage points. This is the second time he has skipped a Republican primary debate, recognizing his unconventional approach to engaging with his political base.
