Late Friday Night, a massive earthquake of 6.4 magnitude hit Nepal’s Jajarkot where at least 128 people lost their lives.
Not only this more than 140 people sustained injuries due to the natural calamity in the Jajarkot and Rukum districts of the West side of Nepal. It is primarily because of the epicenter of it being the Jajarkot only.

In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his profound sadness over the deaths and property damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal. India is prepared to offer any help that it can to the people of Nepal, with whom it stands in solidarity. We send our condolences to the families of the deceased and hope the injured people heal quickly.

Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal stated that the security agencies in the country have been mobilized for immediate rescue and providing relief to the injured.
Earthquakes are known to be common in the region of Nepal
A 6.3-magnitude earthquake that rocked the Doti district in November 2022 claimed six lives a year ago. The country was shaken by multiple earthquakes, including this one.
A 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the hilly country in 2015 destroyed about a million buildings and left over 12,000 people dead.
