Additionally, it encourages proactive measures such as genomic sequencing of positive cases and an increase in Covid testing across the state.
Dr. K Ravi, the committee chairman, reassured that while precautions are essential, there's no cause for alarm. The advisory underscores the importance of early medical consultation for those displaying respiratory symptoms and the need for hospitals to be prepared for a potential surge in infections.
