A submersible, which went missing during its underwater expedition, began its descent on Sunday at 8 am and was scheduled to resurface after 7 hours. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances such as power outages or equipment failures led to the loss of communication between the submersible and its mothership within just 2 hours of the journey. On board, the submersible were several individuals including a British adventurer, a French diver, a Pakistani father accompanied by his son, and the founder of OceanGate Expeditions.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, three countries, namely Canada, France, and the United States dispatched their respective teams to locate and rescue operations for the crew. With the safety and well-being of the passengers at stake, the combined efforts of these nations aimed to bring a safe and successful rescue mission.
Rescuers have been working tirelessly to locate the missing submersible and its occupants. With each passing moment, concerns about the crew's oxygen supply arise. It is estimated that the passengers aboard the submersible may run out of oxygen by the morning of the current day, because of its ability to store up to 96 hours of emergency air.
The urgency to find and save the crew as soon as possible grows as the remaining time passes. The results of this expedition could be a magnificent demonstration of the team's combined efforts.
