Teen Arrested for Hanging Rep. Nancy Mace, Judge Denies Bond
A 19- time-old from Greenville, South Carolina, was arrested on May 15, 2025, for allegedly making a violent trouble against U.S. Representative Nancy Mace. The suspect, linked as Samuel Theodore Cain, also known online as" Roxie Wolfe," reportedly posted a threatening communication on social media platform X, stating an intention to bump off the senator.

Court Hearing and Bond Denial
On May 16, Cain appeared before a judge for a bond hail. The court considered the online trouble believable and decided to keep Cain in guardianship without bond. Rep. Nancy Mace was present in the courtroom and delivered a important victim impact statement, venting her concern about the growing trouble of politically driven violence.

After the hail, Mace approached and shook hands with Cain’s father. She latterly described the moment as a gesture of grace — not remission but an acknowledgment of the family’s modesty and reason.
