Consequently, in this piece, I am gonna help you through the Spelling Bee of 8 October 2022, with some hints, tips, and a final revelation of all the words and their meanings.
But before reeling into all of that, let us first tell you about Spelling Bee and its origins. (Of course, you can skip this part if you want and head straight to the answer)
The Origins of (New York Times) NYT's Spelling Bee?
Spelling Bee has been an integral part of New York Times' columns since 2014. Back then it was published in print format and then in 2018, it came out in digital format with logistics to save scores based on the number of words created.
The original game was created by Frank Longo following feedback from Will Shortz.
Currently, the game is regulated and maintained by Sam Ezersky, the person responsible for constructing the daily puzzles.

How to play NYT's spelling bee?
The NYT's spelling bee challenge is known for its unique hexagonal design of letters arranged in a way that gives it a minimalistic look. Something that is considered one of the winning traits of NYT's spelling bee.'
The puzzle starts with some letters as mentioned, arranged in a hexagonal manner. And the goal of the challenge is to make as many words as you can from these letters.
In the case of today's challenge, the goal was to create words from the following letters,
The player is supposed to create as many words as he/she can from the given letters with the constraint, that each word has to include the central letter.
In the above case, every word to be created from these letters must constitute the letter 'O'.
The Spelling bee has another constraint that it doesn't allow any words to be guessed that are less than 4 letters.
So in the above example, 'RIOT' is a valid word, but 'ROT' is not.
What is the solution to the Spelling Bee of 8 October 2022?
In regards to today's Spelling Bee, you will be easily able to find out at least 8 words. After that though, it will be an uphill task.
When you set out to solve the Spelling Bee, you will easily be able to spot the 4 letter ones.
Such words like RIOT, ROOT, FOOT, NOIR etc, will be easily obtained.
Once you skim through other combinations, you will figure out the more difficult ones too.
