In a private dinner meeting, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden engaged in a comprehensive discussion aimed at strengthening their bilateral relationship. The meeting lasted more than 50 minutes and covered a variety of topics, including defense cooperation, nuclear energy collaboration, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies such as 6G.

Both leaders expressed optimism that the outcomes of the upcoming G20 Summit would help them achieve their common goals. These goals include accelerating sustainable development, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and building consensus around inclusive economic policies to address global challenges effectively.  

After the meeting, President Biden stated on Twitter, "Today, and throughout the G20, we'll affirm that the US-India partnership is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than at any time in history."

According to Indian government sources, Prime Minister Modi expressed his appreciation for President Biden's vision and commitment to strengthening the "India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership" during the meeting. This collaboration is built on shared democratic values, strategic convergences, and strong people-to-people ties.

The two leaders also discussed various regional and global issues, emphasizing that the US-India partnership not only benefits their respective citizens but also contributes to the greater global good.
