According to reports, Atlanta Police responded to a call about a dispute involving a weapon at a home. When officers arrived, a man shut the door on them, prompting authorities to set up a perimeter around the house. Two men then tried to flee—one returned while the other, identified as Young Scooter, jumped over two fences.

Police say that when they found him on the other side, he had suffered a leg injury. He was taken to Grady Marcus Trauma Center, where he later passed away. Authorities confirmed that his injury was not caused by police.
