Follow through to have a look on my journey so far!
A stroll through the past
I grew up in Agra and my curiosity led me to explore the stock market. Despite my father being in the tourism business, I pursued B.Com from RBS College, which laid the foundation for my equity research journey.
I continued to study on my own and enrolled in a comprehensive 2-year MBA program at Dayalbagh University to pursue my goal of working in the field of research.
During my college years, I worked on various projects with experienced professors, which provided me with practical exposure and enhanced my knowledge base. Overall, my college life was exciting and helped me shape my career path.
The start of my professional journey!
During my time at MarketOne, I developed a deep understanding of the US and Australian equity markets, conducted comprehensive industry and company analyses, and became proficient in financial modeling using Excel and Bloomberg.
Communication and presentation skills were also crucial, as I prepared detailed reports and presented findings to senior management. Since then, I've expanded my knowledge to include forex and commodities trading, providing a comprehensive understanding of the financial markets.
Working with diverse clients like investment banks and insurance companies, I've provided informed investment recommendations using my analytical and research skills. I've had the opportunity to work on various projects with Sustainable Projects Group, an Australian-based group, and TPG Capital, an investment firm.
Overall, my expertise in market analysis, financial modeling, communication, and project management has enabled me to offer clients comprehensive and actionable investment recommendations, supporting their investment strategies and delivering meaningful results.
Pathway to Mentorship
My journey towards corporate training and mentorship began when I joined Procapitas, the financial arm of Jobaaj, as an Equity Researcher.
While working with the founder, I had the opportunity to curate different courses in my domain for Jobaaj Learning. This experience ignited my passion for creating workshops and courses that would help students and professionals gain valuable insights into the financial industry.
In line with this passion, I curated a series of workshops related to Equity Research and Portfolio Management. These workshops are designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to enhance their careers as pricing analysts, valuation analysts, financial analysts, portfolio managers, equity researchers, risk managers, and similar roles.
Future Plans
As someone who is deeply passionate about mentoring and research in portfolio management, equity research, and financial modeling, I am dedicated to creating accessible courses and materials that cater to the needs of individuals seeking to improve their understanding and skills in these areas.
My vision is to provide a comprehensive learning experience that is centralized in one location, making it easy for individuals from all backgrounds and experience levels to access the information and resources they need to succeed.
Although we are proud of our ranking as first in equity research workshops, we are committed to extending our reach and making our resources available to a wider audience.
By offering free workshops, we hope to inspire and educate even more individuals who share our passion for the financial industry.
