India's government has made many announcements from its about 100-year-old parliament building. In 1927, Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker inaugurated it. But as of tomorrow, India will have a new parliament next to its old one. This Four Storey building covers 64,500 square meters of land in the heart of India’s Capital, New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi will show the green flag to another government's ambition.

1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the building in December 2020.
2. After a lot of bidding government handled the responsibility to the Ahmedabad-based firm, HCP Design Planning Pvt. Ltd. Bimal Patel is the Chief Architect behind the project.
3. As per the sources, Its Lifespan is around 150 years.
4. The New Building is shaped like a Triangle and is smaller than the previous building.
5. The total cost covered is around ₹900 crores.
6. Sengol will have an Important Spot in Lok Sabha. (As per sources, Sengol symbolizes the transfer of power from the British Government to India. It is a five feet long staff with Nandi sitting on the Top. It also represents Fairness and Justice)
7. The New Parliament Building will comprise 1272 seats. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will have 888 and 384 seats, respectively.
8. As per the sources, construction utilized about 26,045 metric tons of steel, 63,807 metric tons of cement, and 9,689 metric tons of fly ash.
9. Lok Sabha is inspired by National Bird, Peacock. It has expanded its seating capacity to 3x its current capacity. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha is inspired by National Flower, Lotus.
10. Special Entrance points are designated for children, elderly and specially-abled individuals.
