After releasing several titled lists for many years, Forbes has come up with something new this time. Instead of Showcasing Entrepreneurs and change-makers shaping the world, Forbes has come out with a ‘Hall of Shame’ list where it has highlighted 10 Individuals from legions of people it named “30 under 30” who have taken a “dubious path”.

Sam Bankman-Fried

Once considered a rising star in the world of cryptocurrencies, this person has been recently declared guilty of seven charges related to fraud and conspiracy at FTX. Now, they face the possibility of a 10-year prison sentence.

Caroline Ellison

Forbes had once referred to Ellison as another person affected by issues at FTX. Now, she has admitted guilt to charges of wire fraud and conspiracy. She is accused of moving billions from FTX customers to help cover losses at Alameda Research, a connected company.

Nate Paul

The leader of a capital group, who once built a real estate empire worth around $1 billion in 2017, is now dealing with legal troubles. This year, Paul was accused of spending 8 hours engaging in deceptive practices by giving false information to lenders. Following that, he has been charged with four more counts linked to allegations of fraud and conspiracy.

Charlie Javice

The person who started and used to be the CEO of Frank, a startup helping college students with financial aid, is now in Forbes' Hall of Shame. She's being accused of fraud and misrepresenting how big her company is.

Cody Wilson

He is the founder and director of ‘Defense Distributed’, a non-profit organization that develops and publishes open-source gun designs. After he was nabbed for paying $500 for making physical relations with a 16-year-old girl, he met online. Wilson is now a registered Sex offender. 

Martin Shkreli  

Martin Shkreli featured in Hall of Shame

Shkreli has become notorious as the "Pharma Bro" and one of the most infamous people on the list. He earned the title of “the most hated man in America” when his company obtained the license for the antiparasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price astronomically, by 5,445%.

Steph Korey   

Korey, the founder and CEO of the luggage brand Away, has faced allegations of bullying her colleagues and creating a toxic workplace environment.

Lucas Duplan 

Despite raising $30 million in funding for his mobile payment startup Clinkle in 2014, he failed to deliver a viable product.

Phadria Prendergast 

The recently ousted editor-in-chief of Women of the City Magazine, Phadria, faces disgrace amid allegations that she traded media coverage for cash. Additionally, eleven former clients have come forward accusing her of absconding with approximately $195,000 of their money.

James O’Keefe

The Chairman and CEO of Project Veritas is facing accusations of misappropriating donor funds, with allegations that he has used the money for personal expenditures, including a private plane flight.
