The Indian Origin UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak who is a tech enthusiast himself presented the world with an insightful evening. 

On Thursday,  Downing Street released footage where Rishi Sunak and Tesla Mogul Elon Musk sat across each other and discussed a future with AI.

In the past year, Musk was often in the highlights for his concerns over AI’s impact on the future of humans. The billionaire's high-profile appearance alongside Sunak capped off a summit marked by tensions between those focused on supposed existential risks from AI and those who worry about near-term concerns, such as the technology's potential to fuel discrimination and misinformation.

The conversation started with Rishi asking questions to which Musk replied his best.

He stated "There will come a point where no job is needed. You can have a job if you want a job." 

This Wednesday, the Government of the United Kingdom disclosed a Bletchley Declaration, which is a communique signed  On Wednesday, the UK government unveiled the communique which was signed by 28 countries and warns on the possibility that AI can cause "catastrophic" harm. Musk appreciated that China was invited to the same summit. He even highlighted that he discussed AI Safety on a visit to China previously. 

Various topics that are already in our minds came forward as a part of discussions. For Example,

  • and a work-less future  

Mr. Musk has invested big in some AI firms and even employed technology in driverless Tesla Cars. He has often written about his fears that can be a threat to Society and Humans.  

It was an interactive conversation which both seemed to enjoy, PM Rishi Sunak seemed happy to play as a host to this special guest.

Regarding the potential AI offers for youth education, there was also consensus; Mr. Musk claimed AI could be "the best and most patient tutor."

He added one of the most stated horrors of AI "There will come a point where no job is needed - you can have a job if you want one for personal satisfaction but AI will do everything.

"It's both good and bad - one of the challenges in the future will be how do we find meaning in life."
