In a recent breakthrough, Muskan Agarwal shattered societal norms by clinching a job offer of Rs 60 lakhs per annum from LinkedIn, earning her the prestigious title of 'top woman coder.' Explore her inspiring journey further below.
Muskan Agarwal hails from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh and has completed her graduation this year from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) of Uttar Pradesh’s Una. Her final GPA score is 9.40.

Moreover, she has won the TechGig Geek Goddess 2022 Competition with a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 lakhs, after which she gets called the ‘top woman coder’. The competition involved non-stop coding for 4 hours to submit winning programming solutions. Muskan Agarwal beat over 69,000 people in this competition and secured the first prize.
In the same year, she was recognized as a WECode Scholar for participating in the world’s largest student-run tech conference organized at Harvard University.
Following this, LinkedIn offered her the job as a software engineer with an annual package of Rs 60 lakh. This is the highest salary package offered to a non-IITian engineer till now.

However, before all this happened, Muskan had been upskilling herself for many years. She has contributed to many open-source projects, along with working for the Girlscript Foundation. In fact, she has even interned at MyFab11 and Linkedin.
She was also selected for LinkedIn’s Mentorship Program among 40 women offering one-on-one guidance from professionals at the company.
Through this achievement, the Geek Goddess has made many engineers and female coders proud. Muskan Agarwal falls among those students at IIIT, Una, who have accomplished the highest salary package.
