It has also been reported that all the services provided through the Tata Health platform will be provided via the Tata 1mg platform from 1st October,2022 & that the same has been informed to the customers.

According to a TOI report, the lack of expansion in the business & the overlap with Tata Digital's unicorn venture 'Tata 1mg' has resulted in Tata Industries pulling the plug on Tata Health.

Moreover, Tata Sons, the parent company of Tata Group, is reported to think that instead of supporting two businesses of the exact nature, it would be wiser to concentrate its resources on the larger platform of the two.

For the uninitiated, Tata 1mg is one of India's largest online healthcare service providers and a unicorn i.e. its valuation exceeds $1 billion. The company was recently valued at $1.25 billion & Tata Digital holds 62% of the startup.
