They are also emerging investors, with Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Nohra Fatehi, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika Padukone among those who have made recent investments. Let's get an eyeful of their investments. 

ALIA BHATT

Alia Bhatt, one of India’s highest-paid actresses, has become a successful investor with an average investment of Rs. 600.00 million. Being a fashionista and health freak her major investments cover apparel, lifestyle, and health tech.

Her significant investments are in- Nykaa (a beauty and fashion retail firm), Phool (a charcoal-free incense stick manufacturer), and Stylecracker (a personal styling platform).

Aside from this, last year the Brahmastra actress created her firm, Ed-a-mamma (now a Rs. 150 crore brand), which caters to sustainable kidswear for children aged 2 to 14.

ANUSHKA SHARMA

This Bollywood actress has invested in three firms focusing on the food, lifestyle, and finance industries. She has also designed her clothing line- "Nush".

She has also invested in Slurrp Farm, which offers a variety of healthy baby meals and snacks online. Additionally, she has made investments in Blue Tribe (a plant-based meat startup) and Digit Insurance along with her husband, Virat Kohli. Her average investment would be Rs. 25.04 million.

DEEPIKA PADUKONE

Deepika Padukone's investing company, KA Enterprises, has invested in a variety of companies. Some of these include Epigamia (an FMCG brand of yogurt products), FrontRow (a hobby-based learning and community platform), and Bellatrix Aerospace (an Indian space tech firm).

This diva also owns her clothing line, All About You and works as a brand strategist. She has also recently started her beauty brand- "82° East", which offers self-care products. The average of her total investments comes to Rs. 308.25 million.

MALAIKA ARORA

This fitness queen of Bollywood is most interested in investing in health, lifestyle, and wellness startups. She has launched her company, Malaika Arora Ventures, for the same.

She has invested in Rebel Food (an online restaurant company) and Sarv (a fitness brand).

Moreover, she has become a brand ambassador of- Kapiva (an ayurvedic nutrition brand) and Shark Tank pitcher - Get A Whey (a healthy dessert startup).

SHILPA SHETTY KUNDRA


Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a famous actor, dancer, and investor. She has major investments in health technology and lifestyle, with an average investment of Rs. 38.27 million. Till now her most profitable investment (Rs. 55.5 crores) would be in MamaEarth (a toxic-free skincare brand).

She is also a brand ambassador and investor in wellness and nutrition brands- Fast&Up and Chicnutrix.
