This man who joined Physics Wallah in the year 2020 and helped Alakh Pandey Create a wide Platform will now be the Co-chairperson of the India Edtech Consortium (IEC). On 3rd October, Mayank Kumar who was in the same position stepped down, meanwhile, Prateek Maheshwari stepped into the role.
Established in the year 2020, Physics Wallah has guided many people in their career prospects. Prateek Maheshwari joined PW and assisted in the technicality of the applications. Alakh Pandey describes him for his fascination with being behind the camera and handling things from there.
The co-founder of Physics Wallah, Prateek Maheshwari, grew up in Rajasthan. He earned his B-Tech in mechanical engineering from IIT BHU (Banaras Hindu University). His participation in several events and management of tasks like fundraising, coordinating, etc. during his undergraduate years provided a 100% guarantee that everything was proceeding without a hitch. He acquired a variety of abilities, including team leadership, project management, lean manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and more.

Maheshwari not only has years of expertise in development and Marketing. He has started and worked on many other Startups like Night Panda, and Cloud Kitchen. As a person, He has also served as Kashi Utkarsh's "Navuday" or program coordinator. A non-profit organization called Kashi Utkarsh was founded by B.Tech students at IIT BHU (Varanasi). He was in charge of a variety of duties, including assigning teachers, planning assessments, and overseeing the passage of inspirational guest lecturers. He coordinated for at least two years and gained a lot of valuable experience.
Prateek Maheshwari worked at AshaDeep Vidyashram as a fundraiser for over a year, from 2010 to 2011. He used to organize the fundraising there and handle all of the coordination himself. A school run by the non-profit organization "Hope and Joy Society for the Underprivileged" is called Ash Deep Vidyashram.

In 2018 He approached Alakh Pandey to create an app but he declined it. The PW app was being developed at the time by Pen Pencils founder, Prateek Sir, and his crew. As stated by Alakh Pandey He first struggled to create an app since it kept crashing during live classes.
With the use of the well-known PW app, Prateek Maheshwari was instrumental in helping him grow his fledgling YouTube channel into a successful IT company.
His hustle for years in launching different startups finally made him join PW as a cofounder. Prateek Sir's idea to provide Education at extremely low costs inspired Alakh Pandey to appoint him to the position of Co-Founder. Alakh Sir also desired a team leader with practical technical experience.
Prateek Maheshwari, in the opinion of Alakh Pandey, "brought in a very good tech idea and the business model." Prateek is in charge of the product and technology, with CEO Alakh handling the education and brand aspects. Within a few years, PW had established itself as a significant player in a market where Byju's, Vedantu, and Unacademy were competitors, with a valuation of $1.1 billion (about Rs 9,000 crore as of today).
