With research and determination, they reduced the standard wastage of flowers from 40% to 2-3%. Hence, the life of fresh flowers was increased from 2 to 15 days. A business that started with sales of Rs. 10 per packet saw sales in Lakhs per month last year. Their powerful pitch at Shark Tank helped them to close a deal to 1 crore for 2% equity.
Vishakha and Asana’s Angrakhaa
A Shri Ram College of Commerce graduate, Vishakha, started a brand considering women’s stories on fat shaming. Asana, who once boarded from Manipal to Delhi to complete her studies, helped establish Angrakhaa.

Dreams of building her brand transformed into reality for Aakrati in her city. The idea of taking Chikankari of Lucknow overseas came to her when the need for employment of a craftsman was brought to her notice by her mother. With the help of investment from her father, she worked on a business with a vision of maintaining the authenticity of the craft. By dealing with customers herself, she gained immense learning. Within two years, sales in lakhs reached crores.
Sharks closed the deal of ₹ 75 Lakhs for 3.75% Equity, looking at her confident approach towards taking the business to the next level.
Yushika Jolly’s Paradyes
A craze for dyes made her launch a brand. In our world, where love for fashion is never ending, her brand is all set for the future.
Yushika’s father had a business in textiles from where she used to experiment with coloring her hair. Amidst the pandemic, she saw a chance and made Paradyes. She is working to make semi-permanent hair dyes to last up to 8 to 10 washes. Her husband also supported her journey with his knowledge of accounts. It was one of the most impressive ideas in Shark Tank India. At last, an offer of 65 Lakhs for 2% Equity was closed as a deal with the sharks.
Nestroots
Chhavi Singh turned her 10-year-long industrial experience into a company in 2016. With the USP of a brand with elegant aesthetics and unique designs, her company reached more than one Lakh customers. Chhavi’s aim to compete in the international market led her to Shark Tank. Where she even secured a deal of 50 Lakhs with 2% Equity.
