In a world where experience is often seen as synonymous with success, Nikhil Garg is a refreshing anomaly. At just 16 years old, he's already a two-time startup founder, leading the charge with Bytecube, a dynamic IT solutions company, and Advisely, an innovative AI-powered platform designed to simplify the study abroad process. His story is a testament to the power of ambition, self-belief, a relentlessly focused work ethic, and the ability to leverage a strong network.

Nikhil's entrepreneurial journey was not sparked by a business textbook or a classroom lecture. It was ignited by his own relentless curiosity about machine learning and artificial intelligence at the remarkably young age of eight. Rather than waiting for traditional educational pathways to catch up, he embarked on a journey of self-directed learning, immersing himself in the complexities of programming languages and technologies.

"I have a proven track record, this is the reason I started to work on Advisely," Nikhil explains. His early fascination with technology fueled a desire to solve real-world problems and create solutions that would make a tangible impact.

Nikhil's drive to create solutions quickly translated into practical experience. He started freelancing, gaining valuable experience working on diverse projects, honing his skills, and building a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work.

In January 2022, at the remarkable age of 14, Nikhil was offered a Team Lead position at NorthStar Technologies. Here, he expertly guided a team of 9 developers, further polishing his leadership and project management skills.Determined to push boundaries, he continued to expand his expertise at Code Symphony LLP, delving deeper into the intricacies of software development.

In October 2022, Nikhil took a bold leap and founded Bytecube. Driven by the desire to empower other businesses and entrepreneurs, Bytecube offers cutting-edge software solutions, dynamic website development, and captivating mobile apps.  His vision was clear, to become a one-stop-shop for startups and entrepreneurs seeking to bring their digital ideas to life. The company's rapid expansion to over 15 employees in such a short time highlights Nikhil's exceptional leadership ability and the potential he saw in the market.

Fueled by his own aspirations and a desire to empower others,  Nikhil launched his second venture, Advisely. This platform leverages the power of artificial intelligence to streamline the often-complex process of studying abroad. Advisely assists student counselors in crafting compelling SOPs (Statements of Purpose), college essays, and other essential documents, ultimately increasing the chances of students successfully securing their dream academic opportunities. His determination to make an impact is clear:

"My vision in 5 years is to make this company to at least a 30 million dollar valuation," Nikhil boldly proclaims. His unwavering confidence stems from a deep understanding of the market, his proven track record, and the transformative potential of his AI-powered solution.

Throughout his remarkable journey, Nikhil has gleaned invaluable insights into what drives entrepreneurial success.  But he also recognizes the power of strategic networking. His success as a freelancer and team leader caught the attention of influential leaders, and he made the most of these opportunities. He candidly recalls appearances on popular podcasts, including a viral YouTube feature, noting that these significantly elevated his profile within the entrepreneurial community.

Crucially, Nikhil leveraged these opportunities not for mere exposure but to truly connect with founders and industry leaders. He shares, “I was working directly with the Founder in that job room. So, I got everything, an idea of how these companies are working. So, I thought, "If I can do it for someone else, why can't I set up my own company?”

It was this combination of a strong track record, ambition, and strategic networking that made Nikhil an attractive candidate for the prestigious Emergent Ventures program. The $25,000 grant was not just about financial resources;  it was validation of his potential and an opportunity to tap into a rich network of investors, mentors, and experienced entrepreneurs.

"The amount of network that I have got is insane," Nikhil acknowledges. "I am working directly with multiple established founders, I'm working directly with those who have built million-dollar companies and even venture founders." This access to industry leaders fueled his ambition and provided critical guidance and support for his ventures.

Nikhil's insights go beyond his own personal drive. He generously shares a core principle that has guided his success: "As a founder, one should focus on majorly 3 things: one, the people you hire; second, the technology; and third, the revenue."

Nikhil understands that a company is only as strong as its people. His emphasis on building a diverse team of "hustlers, hackers, and hipsters" highlights the importance of individuals with different skill sets and perspectives driving the company forward. The "hacker" represents the technological brilliance required for innovation, while the "hustler" embodies the sales and business acumen needed to connect with customers and drive growth. The "hipster" brings a creative edge in understanding user pain points and crafting solutions that resonate with the market.

While Nikhil's current success in the tech world is impressive, he has dreams that expand far beyond the digital realm. "At 25, I want to do ocean research.  I want to run an off-shore sea company. That's my passion," he reveals. This enduring curiosity and desire to explore uncharted territories fuels his long-term vision. Nikhil's ambition isn't limited to any single field – after exploring the depths of the ocean, he envisions returning to the dynamic world of AI, armed with the knowledge and experience gained from his entrepreneurial ventures.

Underpinning Nikhil's remarkable journey is a simple yet incredibly powerful mantra: "Never Give Up." This unwavering determination, coupled with his raw talent, a focus on building a strong team, and a relentless work ethic, has propelled him forward, overcoming obstacles that might deter others.

Nikhil's story shatters the myth that entrepreneurial success depends on decades of experience. When asked whether investors or clients ever doubted his ability due to his young age, Nikhil laughs it off. Instead of seeing his youth as a barrier, most see it as a strength: "According to them, if I'm able to do this much at the age of 16, they would like to bet on me instead of betting on someone who's 30 or 35."

As an entrepreneur with a  track record, Nikhil understands the importance of giving back; his advice to aspiring startup founders is both practical and insightful, focusing on the importance of market research, customer understanding, and the power of building a strong foundation before scaling. While Nikhil's story is still unfolding, one thing is clear, he is just getting started, and the world would do well to watch this rising star closely.
